You may have heard rumours regarding the Shuswap Trail Alliance’s (STA) auction and yes – they’re going online with a silent auction is for three weeks only ending February 28th, 2021.
While it’s not quite the Party of the Year the Salmon Arm community has come to look forward to every year – it is going to be a month of supporting trails throughout the Shuswap AND supporting local businesses.
The STA supports the Shuswap North Okanagan Rail Trail initiative in many ways – most notably as project manager and secretariat for the project. When you financially support the Trail Alliance, you are also supporting the rail trail – so go ahead, bid on some awesome auction items, take part in the 50/50 draw or donate directly to the rail trail project – look for “Fund a Need“.
You can browse the Shuswap Trail Alliance’s Deep Winter Lockdown Silent Auction right now, but you’ll have to hold off on bidding until the event goes live on February 5th. New items will be added to the auction as they come in.
